Juxtaposition. I’m drawn to the contrasting effect that a maternity session has against an urban backdrop; the sweetness of new life inside a beautiful round belly against metal and brick .
Heather and Bryan are city people so doing urban maternity photos in downtown Raleigh was the perfect choice. I love how much they make each other laugh, how Heather giggles every time I say Bryan’s name, and knowing what is about to come into their lives. This is one of the best moments in life and their excitement is contagious.
They’re waiting to be surprised as to whether they’re having a boy or a girl…I’m thinking girl, but I’m usually wrong. {UPDATE: Spoiler! If you want to see if I was right Click Here to see their newborn session}
