I give all moms TONS of credit. They have a tough job and planning family photos is no exception. They have to first coordinate with their photographer {moi}, confirm and book an available date, figure out what everyone will be wearing, make sure everyone is fed, well-rested and super pumped for the big day, place orders and then do it all again next year. As a mom, I get it. I’ve been there. As a family photographer, I want to help in any way that I can.
One thing I do for my clients {because they DESERVE it!} is help them decide what to wear. I have dedicated an entire board on pinterest to this subject alone. Once they decide what they are going to wear, I encourage them to lay them all out and text a picture to me. Together, we pick the final outfits and mom doesn’t need to stress.
Today, I have taken it one step further and put together my own collection of what to wear for fall family photos using mostly gap clothes. Fun, right? Oh yeah! And if you click the photo below, you will get prices and direct links for ordering each piece in case you love it THAT much. But no, I don’t get paid if you order or anything like that.
Keep in mind – I’m not saying you need to look exactly like this. If you already have ideas, that is perfectly fine! This is just for those of you who need inspiration.
At the end of the day, it’s really not about the clothing. I’m going to be capturing your FAMILY! That’s the most important thing. So don’t stress, just have fun with it!
