About two months ago I stumbled upon this incredible field while out running. The light was magical and I could tell that when the trees got their leaves that it would be a dreamy location for photos. After waiting for weeks, and putting many more miles on my running shoes checking on it, the leaves were there and everything was just as I had imagined…and then I got a call from Heather wanting to schedule her son’s one year old photo session. Since I had the pleasure of photographing her family’s maternity session and lifestyle newborn session, I knew the field would be perfect for her and her family. And oh, it was!
One of the things I enjoy most about what I do are the friendships that come from it. Over the years, Heather and BJ have become dear friends- our children play together, we run races together, we do dinners- and every time she asks me to schedule a photo session, I am humbled. It is an honor to be the one to capture these precious moments that will be cherished and someday passed on as heirlooms.
Lucas – you could not BE any cuter. You’re not talking (a ton) yet but your eyes say IT ALL. I can’t wait to see all the trouble you get into over the years 😉
