There has been so much happening in my little corner of the world and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share it all! Back in October, I was honored to work with Smallcakes, home of the ‘Triangle’s best cupcakes’, to create a custom stylized commercial photoshoot that would be used for the art to decorate the walls in their beautiful store. The concept was a kid cupcake party – think vintage parlor shop with a modern twist- using the brand colors of brown and pink along with the added teal blue and antique silver accents to match the store itself.
During the planning of the photoshoot, I walked into Smallcakes in Cary to meet with the owner and the smell was so amazing that I decided I had to try the cupcakes, ya know, for inspiration…I mean, how else was I going to choose which ones we should use for the photos? 😉 They are all so good but my favorites are the blueberry and the birthday cake. Yummmmm.
I’d like to thank Ericka from Little Apple Styles, a tremendously talented stylist who is a joy to work with and who brought my vision to life. And her favorite cupcake? Hot fudge sundae!
